RSPCA ACT has received a large number of reports of an overseas organisation calling individuals asking for donations on behalf of ‘RSPCA Canberra ACT’ or simply ‘RSPCA’. The individual is said to have an Asian accent and states she is fundraising on behalf of RSPCA. Members of the public who received these calls stated the caller dodged around answering questions such as what country she was calling from.

RSPCA ACT is urging the public to not give any details to callers claiming to be fundraising on behalf of RSPCA if they are unsure of the authenticity.
